The moment that Sebastian took his seat next to Rory at the breakfast table, he could feel the heat of both Kurt and Wes’s stares on him. Determined not to break or be the first one to speak, Sebastian instead focused on the comfort of Rory’s palm laid out flat against his own. To be quite honest, Sebastian was surprised that Kurt hadn’t squealed yet; he was probably the biggest gossip of the usual crew, surely he was near full to bursting with this sort of news?
Whatever, he thought as he took a bite out of a strawberry. It was probably best that he not worry about it too much. They’d get to the talking eventually. Wes might yell, at worst and—
“What?” Sebastian asked, head snapping up when he heard a giggle emerge from the other side of the table.
It was Jeff who grinned back at him, leaning in close towards Nick whose face was a near identical image of amusement. That was when Sebastian looked decided to look down the line: Blaine looked mildly embarrassed, Wes looked a bit cross, and Kurt looked guilty. Oh, no. He didn’t…
“So, how was everyone’s morning?” Jeff suddenly asked. He wiggled his eyebrows at both Sebastian and Rory. “Or should I say, what’s up?”
“Classy,” Sebastian muttered sarcastically. Of course the one detail Kurt would have included was where their hands were. He probably went on about how it ‘traumatized’ him.
Rory heard the giggle that came from Jeff. At that moment he just tilted his head as he watched him tell Nick and Nick acted the same way. For him Niff was just being themselves, but he turned to Blaine. The boy made him a sign with his eyes to look down, but at Sebastian. When Rory did so he was caught up in everything, he closed his eyes and just shook his head. Sometimes dealing with them was like dealing with kids. The fact that their hands were under the table might look bad, but at the moment he didn’t care. He was just holding his boyfriend’s hand. He looked at Sebastian and just gave him a gentle smile. He knew Sebastian didn’t care too much.
To break the awkward moment that was happening Wes was the one to take the stand. “I heard a rumor that you two are dating…” He said as a hint of them coming to the official terms. Rory was not going to hide Sebastian from anyone; he had nothing to be ashamed of. He had a great boyfriend. “Yes, we are.” Rory said simply as he kept eating his breakfast, not even looking at the manager. It was not a big deal, besides everyone was bothering them before about how the liked each other and what not, right?
Wes just sighed softly; it wasn’t his will to do any harm. “I’ll just say this once. Stay away from the public eye. Meaning that I don’t want to read about it, I don’t want articles, I don’t want interviews about it, nothing like that. Got it?” He crossed his arms as he switched looks between the two boys he was talking at.
If Wes ordered the two of them to break up then Sebastian was pretty sure he’d lose it. The past three and a half weeks with Rory were probably the best that he could remember to date. Just the very thought of losing him put a sick feeling at the very pit of his stomach, even if he knew that wouldn’t be the case at all. Wes hadn’t been very happy when Nick and Jeff announced their relationship but at the same time there was little he could do to stop them. Going by that notion, Sebastian had a feeling the reaction their manager had to their band mates would be quite similar.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea if you went and talked with him alone,” Sebastian said quietly, gazing up into Rory’s eyes. He could be good, he could be patient and play the role of the docile little boy who obeyed the rules, if that’s what Rory really wanted. What Sebastian didn’t want was for Rory to face the potential of Wes’s wrath alone. As good of a guy as Wes generally was, he had a bit of a temper sometimes and could be harsh if he really wanted. All he wanted was to make sure of was that if this news upset Wes in any way, shape, or form, that Rory wouldn’t get the blunt end of it all. After all, Sebastian had upset Wes more times than he could count. What was one more time going to do to him?
With that thought in mind, Sebastian nodded along to the words that came spilling out of his boyfriend’s mouth. He smiled in turn when Rory’s lips covered his own. “For you, I will,” he promised, cupping the back of his neck. “But first, let’s go back to where we were.” Then he leaned in to pull Rory back on his lap, laying back slightly, pressing his lips against Rory’s so that he could relax before they went ahead with their plan.
By the time he and Rory finished, most of the other guys had risen from bed and performed their morning rituals. Sebastian insisted that he and Rory show up for breakfast at the same time, not five minutes apart like they normally did. Though they’d freshened up some, evidence of their post-makeout haze was still clear on Sebastian. Swollen lips, bright eyes, halfway decent hair. Wes arched a brow when he saw the two of them but said nothing. Sebastian was quite proud to have had Rory stake his claim on him.
“Good morning boys,” Sebastian said pleasantly, taking a seat across from Blaine.
Rory gave Sebastian a sweet smile and leaned his forehead against the taller boy. “Thank you.” Rory whispered because truth was that he didn’t want to face Wes alone. He didn’t deal well with people being upset or mad at him and if Sebastian was there with him it would be easier to just breathe and go with whatever comes at them. What was the worst that could happen anyways? Rory was making Wes sound meaner than what he actually was, maybe the bands manager wouldn’t even care about the two of them dating, but that had low chances of happening since Wes cared about what people and critics had to say about the band.
Being cut off from his thoughts Rory placed himself with Sebastian’s help on the other’s lap and with a playful smirk they connected their lips once again, doing what they were doing before they got interrupted by a certain Kurt.
It was breakfast time and Rory was trying to make himself look decent after the make out with Sebastian. Since the other boy wanted them to show up to breakfast at the same time Rory waited for his boyfriend to get ready. Once both boys were done they walked together to where all the other band mates were on the table. The blue eyed boy avoided looking at Kurt and Wes; he kindly smiled at Jeff who smiled back.
Sitting down next to Sebastian, Rory waved softly. “Hey guys.” He greeted after Sebastian had. The Irish boy sneaking his hand under the table and laced his fingers with Sebastian, caressing the other’s hand with his thumb. He was nervous and the other guys were quiet, maybe it was the fact that it was the morning and most of them weren’t exactly happy in the mornings, it was usually the quietest time during the day.
“Well, it’s best that you tell him sooner than later,” said Kurt. “I swear though, if you put us up against that One Direction, you make them look straight.” With that, Kurt exited the room, leaving the two boys back to their own devices.
Ordinarily, Sebastian would have snorted in the rare event that Cinderfella actually cracked a joke that was halfway funny but in this case he could not muster the strength to do so. Instead he pressed a kiss to the side of Rory’s neck and exhaled a sigh. “Wes. Shit. How could I have forgotten?” As far as worrying went, it was quite the opposite case for Sebastian; it wasn’t the press he was worried about—Sebastian had been out long before they won the X-Factor, so everyone knew that he was gay. It was the same case with Blaine. The other three though, to avoid labels, Wes suggested it might be best if they say nothing at all concerning their sexuality.
In fact, he took it one step further and made it clear that they would not be allowed to show any indication of their dating lives whatsoever. Wes seemed slightly frustrated when Nick and Jeff let out that they were dating, but since he knew there was nothing he could do about it, he simply let them carry on. Sebastian was unsure if their manager could handle yet another interband dating scenario. Especially given their history from before.
“I don’t want Wes to be upset,” Sebastian said, lacing his and Rory’s fingers together. He brought their joined hands up and lightly kissed Rory’s knuckles. “I don’t know. I’m glad we don’t have to hide anymore, but…” He laughed slightly. “You know we’ve already sort of broken Wes’s rule? Us, making out in public and all. I’m surprised no one caught us.”
Rory rolled his eyes at Kurt’s comment and he turned to Sebastian, holding his hands. When the other got closer the blue eyed boy tilted his head to the side and nodded softly. “I just think he will be mad at us, but it’s not like he can order us to break up.” If He could do that Rory knew he wouldn’t order them to do that because it could affect their performance and everything.
Sebastian kissed Rory’s knuckles and he smiled widely to the gorgeous boy in front of him. “I’m glad we don’t have to hide too and please. We haven’t broken any rules because we haven’t got caught.” He thought a little. “Well, Kurt doesn’t really count. We were in private.” Rory leaned up and cupped Sebastian’s face and kissing him. After a while he pulled away. “What do we do now, baby boy?” He smiled sweetly to Sebastian. In his mind he was thinking about how he was going to break it down for Wes. He wanted to be the one to do it because Rory could have a good chance on not making him mad irritated.
Sebastian could do be the one to talk, but he had little patience and the blue eyed boy had no idea how could Wes react. It was better to have a safe move, Sebastian could be very unpredictable. “When do you think we should talk to Wes? And by we I mean me.” Rory smiled and caressed Sebastian’s cheek gently. “If you want to come with me you have to promise to be patience and nice. No arguing.” He made the statement just in case.
"I know you’re nice and patience lately and specially to me, but If we want to the band to be on good terms and a happy Wes we have to put our best happy face." Rory nodded and pecked Sebastian’s lips.
Kurt looked between the two of them, caught between exasperation and genuine happiness when Rory answered their question. “Why didn’t you tell anyone?” he asked, shooting Sebastian a suspicious glance. Of course that would be the first question he’d ask, inevitably followed by a threat later on when he and Sebastian were alone. Best to clear up assumptions now before they arose.
“We wanted to see how long it took you all to figure out,” Sebastian fired back, not even sparing Kurt another glance before nuzzling back into the crook Rory. He genuinely didn’t care how Kurt would perceive this. Sebastian was happy and that’s all there was to it. “I’ll admit, I’m impressed that you were the one to find us.” A smile crossed his lips when Rory mentioned how long they had been dating for. Not just that, but the best two and a half weeks of this entire tour; no questions asked.
A long lapse of silence passed between the three of them. Kurt exhaled a sigh, then said, “You’re going to have to tell Wes about this eventually. You know, if you want to keep this private. Or go public. Whatever. You can’t sneak forever.”
Rory looked at Kurt as he suspiciously glanced at Sebastian. They had no particular on why not telling anyone, at least no spoken reason. For Rory and Sebastian was the fun of sneaking together and the surprise of getting caught at any moment which clearly wasn’t anything like Rory expected. It was awkward and just plain uncomfortable. The blue eyed boy thought that sneaking kisses when no one was looking and just keeping it incognito was better at least in the few weeks of them dating.
The Irish boy looked at Sebastian as he spoke, but the other leaned in, nuzzling his crook as Rory chuckled, leaning his head into Sebastian. At least they could be like this when the band was around; it was a very good plus from this slightly awkward situation. The blue eyed boy sneaked his arms around Sebastian’s waist and leaned into him.
“I don’t think telling Wes will be that difficult, the hard part would be hearing what he thinks about it.” Rory said shrugged softly. When Nick and Jeff started to date Wes have told them to not let the public know because it would ruin the band’s reputation and it would be labeled as the bad with the gay boys. Rory though Wes wouldn’t like the fact that Sebastian and Rory were now dating because it would be 5 boys; four of them dating and one of them dating the male hairstylist. The news already assumed everyone in the band was homosexual and they were just dealing with that label they had been given. “Remember when he had problems with Niff?” He said looking up at Sebastian. Who knows Wes may take it well, but he would surely worry about what the press and news would say.
Sebastian’s head snapped up in shock when he heard Kurt’s voice come from the doorway. He was about to say something when Rory suddenly flew out of his grasp, blushing and utterly at a loss for words, which, in turn made the clever remark he was about to say fly right out the window. Instead, he shot a glare at Kurt as he sat up and smoothed the front of his shirt down. “There’s this thing called knocking,” he said, lifting a brow. “It comes in handy, especially if you’re planning on being a cock block.”
He wasn’t upset, not in the least but he had to say something to break this awkward as fuck silence. While he waited for Kurt to gather his thoughts, Sebastian scooted over closer to Rory and slid his arms around his waist. He figured now that since Kurt saw them making out and practically grinding on each other a few minutes ago, cuddling up close to Rory would hardly be a sin.
Even so, Kurt stared at the two wide-eyed. “When did this happen?” he asked, gesturing between the two of them as Sebastian placed a kiss below Rory’s ear. He seemed to blanch at the display. “Okay, I get it. You’re dating.”
“Well, we came into the room about an hour ago,” Sebastian replied, a grin crossing over his lips. “And we were going at what you witnessed for about forty-five minutes, on and off, until you interrupted us.”
Kurt glared back at him, “That’s not what I mean, Smythe.”
Rory tried to keep calm, even though in his head he was freaking out, but it was no big deal. It was bound to happen someday and it’s better sooner than later… The Irish boy looked at Sebastian when he opened his mouth to speak and Rory just rolled his eyes at him. Only he would say something like that. At least someone from the band knew about them being together, he wouldn’t doubt Kurt telling all of the others. He was also sure the other band mates would take it well, as long as they didn’t find out this way again. Nick and Jeff would be the one to make jokes or things like that, but with the best intensions.
Sebastian moved closer to Rory and the blue eyed boy just leaned into his boyfriend, resting his hand softly on his shoulder. Kurt had a shock wide eye look that was falling on the two of them. Rory was about to answer the other’s question when Sebastian placed a kiss below his ear and Rory chuckled softly, turning his head to the other and placing a soft kiss to the other’s jaw line.
The Irish boy squeezed Sebastian’s arm softly when he started to tell Kurt about when they got there and all that things. “Bas…” He said softly. Turning to Kurt Rory gave him a small smile. “We’ve been dating for two weeks and a half.” Two wonderful weeks and a half Rory thought to himself.
Sebastian inhaled sharply as Rory’s hands slipped up his shirt, exhaling when his fingertips ghosted over his abs. One pleasant surprised he’d discovered over the past couple of weeks was how electric the chemistry between the two of them was. Back when this was just a fantasy, he imagined Rory to be more shy—which was true to a certain extent, but what the other lacked in experience he definitely made up with enthusiasm. As Rory worked his way down the column of his neck, Sebastian tilted his head back, an appreciative moan escaping his slightly parted lips. Though he lay back and enjoyed Rory’s ministrations to his neck, Sebastian’s hands were far from idle; his fingertips gently massaged into the hollow of Rory’s hipbones, unconsciously setting a rhythm between the two of them.
Once he realized what he was doing, he’d probably stop. It wasn’t that Sebastian didn’t want Rory. Far from it, in fact. But they both agreed that it would be best to take things slow since this would be Rory’s first relationship and Sebastian wanted them to have something beyond a physical thing. Even so, a private part of his mind couldn’t help but think if simply making out was this good, well, when they got to the point of sex, it would be phenomenal.
Sebastian pulled Rory back up, smirking up at him before reattaching their lips. They’d definitely have to pull away soon, before his pants became unbearably tight, but he just wanted to—
“Oh my God,” a soft voice from the door said. Sebastian’s hands and hips stilled. Though he did not pull away from Rory, his eyes fluttered open. It was Kurt, standing in the doorway, his mouth agape. “I just…ah…wow.”
Rory smirked softly against the other’s neck as the moan that escaped the other’s lip was out, enjoying the pair of hand that was on his hips, moving into a rhythm. If you asked Rory three weeks ago if he ever do such thing with Sebastian he would just laugh softly and say that no way, not because he didn’t want to, but because Sebastian wouldn’t be interested in him. Now that they were together the chemistry between the two of them was running wild in their body, but Rory would just go to a certain limit. His shyness was going away with Sebastian, but he still wanted to have that part of him. He would love to have that intimacy moment with the green eyed boy, but not for a while. Rory would still be self-conscious with Sebastian and he was not ready to give himself away.
When Sebastian pulled away Rory gave to him an innocent smile as response of the smirk he was receiving from the other. They attached their lips together in a slow and sweet kiss that was increasing its passion with every movement. Rory heard a voice and he froze, knowing from who it came from. It was Kurt the one standing at the door. Rory pulled away from Sebastian and got off his lap. He was blushing, but he looked at Kurt. “I… Hey…” Was all that Rory could come up with. He didn’t exactly see this at bad, at least someone other than Sebastian and him knew they were together.
The only thing Sebastian was vaguely aware of was the feeling of Rory’s lips moving against his own. Taking in his scent, letting it surround him completely with how close they were. Sebastian’s eyes, usually closed shut at this point, struggled to stay open just so he could see how Rory reacted to his touch. His hands—his hands at this point were roaming all over his boyfriend’s body, trailing up and down his sides, fingertips feeling every dip and curve until they finally stilled, resting along his hips, guiding Rory into his lap.
“Rory,” Sebastian said breathlessly, pressing a kiss along the Irish boy’s pulse point before smiling at him with bright eyes, capturing his lips into a heated kiss.
No, this was not one of those dreams. This was so much better than any of those dreams because this was real. For the past two and a half weeks, all of this was real though Sebastian sometimes thought otherwise. Because, honestly, this felt too good to be true. And yet, it was. Rory holding his hand under the table, Rory looking at him a certain way, Rory kissing him and calling him ‘baby’. All of this was enough to etch the perma-grin on Sebastian’s face that scared Nick the other day.
That was the funny thing about all of this; despite them going at it for two weeks, none of the guys seemed to have figured it out yet. “Maybe if I gave you a hickey they would,” Sebastian joked the other day when he and Rory excused themselves to the hotel earlier that night.
Rory had his hand placed gently on the other’s neck as he moved his lips deeply and passionately against Sebastian’s mouth. The green eyed boy had his fingertips roaming around the blue eyed boy’s body as he gave in and moved to Sebastian’s lap. Rory kept moving his lips against the other’s as he ran his hand softly down the green eyed boy chest, resting it on the hips. It had been two and a half weeks of them being together, of them being like this as many times they had the chance to. The Irish boy couldn’t be more ecstatic. Their band mates were somewhat oblivious to Sebastian and him being finally together. Nobody had noticed and he wasn’t sure if they would ever get the clue of what was actually happening between them.
The blue eyed boy let out a soft hum against his lovers lips, Sebastian made him feel so good with just kissing him and holding him like this. It got Rory’s mind racing and his heart beating twice as fast. The Irish boy let his hand go up the other’s shirt as he stroked with his thumb Sebastian’s abs. The other had a wonderful sexy body that Rory couldn’t help but stare at when they were performing on stage. With every dance move Sebastian made he held his breath a little more. Rory pulled away from Sebastian’s lips slowly and placed them on his jaw, leaving trails of kissed to the other’s neck as he nipped and kissed gently, careful enough to not leave marks. “Mm.” was the sound that escaped the blue eyed lips.
